1 large Onions, raw 2 cup Beans - Black, dried (by CELLOMARM) 4 serving Pacific Natural Foods Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth, 1 cup 1.5 cup, chopped Green Peppers (bell peppers) 2 clove Garlic 1 cup Yogurt Plain Greek Yogurt, non-fat 2 tbsp Chili powder 1 tsp Cumin seed 1 tsp Condiments: Tobasco Sauce (McIlhenny) (by DEY101) 2 tsp Salt 1 serving Bertolli EVOO (1 tbsp)
Put dried black beans in pot with 6-8 C of water and bring to a boil, cook for 2 minutes, then cover and let sit for 1 hour. Drain beans. Saute chopped onion, garlic, and green bell pepper in olive oil over medium heat until cooked through. Add in dried beans, chicken stalk, 2 cups of water, and spices and bring to a boil. Cook for 20 minutes or until beans are soft. Once cooked through, used hand blender adn blend ingredients until smooth. Add one cup of yogurt and blend in. Makes 8-10 servings.
