Grandma's Christmas Fruit Salad

Ingredients
For Salad:1/2 cup raisins1 orange, finely cut up2 apples, chopped1 cup walnuts1 can crushed puineapple, drained1 60oz jar maraschino cherries3 lbs grapesFor Dressing:2 large eggs2 Tblsp lemon juice2 Tblsp heavy cream1/2 pint whipped heavy cream
Directions
Mix the salad ingredients together in a large bowl.

For dressing: In a double boiler mix eggs, lemon juice and 2 Tblsp heavy cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Cool and mix with the whipped whipping cream. Stir dressing into the mixed fruit. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
