Ingredients
Garbanzo Beans ~ Two 15 oz. cansSun Dried Tomatoes in Oil ~ 8ozFresh Garlic ~12 Cloves, peeled (more or less to taste)Lemon Juice ~ 2 oz. (more or less to taste)Salt ~ 1 TbspExtra Virgin Olive Oil ~ 8 TbspFresh Basil ~ 10 leaves
Directions
You can easily cut this recipe in half to keep on hand at home. I made such a large batch because I was taking it to a party. This was my first attempt at making hummus so I aware of how much it was going to "grow" when I started adding all of the ingredients. Depending on the size of your food processor you may want to do this in 2 batches or, again, simply cut the recipe in half.

In food processor, add Garbanzo Beans, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Fresh Garlic and Salt. Pulse while gradually adding Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Add Lemon Juice to taste. Blend until desired consistency.

I added in a touch of yogurt, some cayenne and protein powder while reducing the amount of garlic. Very tasty and loved the textured. - 5/6/19

Loved this recipe, but cut it in half and used less garlic to make enough just for the family. - 8/19/18

Wow, is this good. I didn't change anything and noticed after being in the frig overnight it had a little more kick to it. Husband loves it since he is allergic to sesame this is great alternative to regular hummus. Definitely will make again! - 6/15/17
