2 cup Dry Black Bean (by GINGRBREADCHICK) 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Onions, raw 4 clove Garlic 6 serving Cloves, whole - Badia - 1 serv = 1 clove (by ALILDUCKLING) 1 tbsp (C) Vinegar, Red Wine (Gr Value) 1 serving Bay Leaf - whole leaf (by BRAGA76) 10 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap
Directions
PICK OVER AND WASH.
COVER WITH WATER.
ADD ONION, GARLIC, BAY LEAF.
AS WATER COOKS DOWN CONTINUE TO ADD WATER TO COVER.
MAKE SURE WATER IS HOT OR IT WILL SLOW COOKING TIME.
COOK OVER MEDIUM HEAT WITH OUT SALT UNTIL SOFT.
WHEN BEANS ARE SOFT ADD VINEGAR AND CLOVES. PUT CLOVES IN A TEA INFUSER , ATTACH TO SIDE OF POT.
REMOVE BAY LEAF AND CLOVES INFUSER.
YOU CAN EITHER ADD SALT OR LET EVERYONE SALT THEIR OWN TO TASTE.
