Mock Wendy's Frosty
- Minutes to Prepare:
- Number of Servings: 2
Ingredients
Directions
1 CUP Nonfat (skim) milk2 TBSP Sugar-Free, Fat Free Chocolate Pudding Mix1 TSP Vanilla Extract1 TSP Unsweetened Cocoa1/2 TBSP Splenda (2-3 small packets)2 TBL Cool-Whip Free (optional)7 Ice Cubes
Place all in a blender that chops ice well. Blend until all is well mixed and all of the ice is chopped up. Mixture should be nice and thick. I like to pour the drink in a Starbucks cup or some other attractive-looking container!
This recipe makes almost 20 ounces, which I personally think is too much for one serving. I highly suggest dividing this recipe in half or share the full recipe version with someone special.

Nice substitute for the real thing and really low calorie count is a plus. I would recommend only putting 5 or 6 ice cubes. It is a little more like a milkshake and not as thick but I found if I added all of the cubes the flavor wasn't as satisfying. Also, you could add peanutbutter, so worth it! - 1/2/09

I changed this up a bit because I try to stay away from the fake sweeteners as much as I can. Muscle Milk Chocolate powder has more good stuff than bad, so I used 1 scoop of that, plus whole milk instead of skim and extra cocoa powder. I also subbed stevia for splenda and added a banana. Tasty! - 6/13/14

There were three of us so I trippled the recipe, used an entire box of SF pudding mix, a combo of Mocha Mix (lactose intolerant) and a little heavy whipping cream, instead of milk, cap of good vanilla, and 3 instant Starbucks coffee packets. YUM!!! It was like a frosty-frappe! Kids LOVED it!!! - 4/7/13

YUM! I didn't have cool whip so I used whipping cream (whipped it first) and I also used chocolate almond silk milk. Used my nutribullet to whip it up (precrushed the ice first in a ziplock - hit it a few times with the rolling pin). Split the drink with my girlfriend. Fantabulous! - 8/25/13

I love this recipe and have been making it almost daily. I discovered that some small changes adding very few calories make incredible results! I use 5 or 6 ice cubes, and instead of vanilla, I add almond and coconut extract and some unsweetened toasted coconut flakes. Delecious! - 12/3/15

Used my Nutribullet to make this. It came out grainy and very runny. Will try again using my smoothy maker and maybe less chocolate and ice. The cool whip calories are not included in the full nutritional breakdown so I'm assuming the cool whip is optional for on top of the drink and not in it? - 8/25/13
