Ingredients
2 tbs protein powder4-6 ice cubes1 cup milk non fat1 cup blueberries, fresh or frozen1/2 cup nuts. your choice, I used a mix of raw pistasios, unsalted peanuts, and unsalted macadamia nuts in the nutritional info1/2 pain yogurt1tbs flax oilpinch of cinnamonMakes a lot, can be divided into two servings. Also less nuts or lower cal nuts will drastically change the cal number.
Directions
mix in a blender for two min and serve

    There are a lot of healthy ingredients beneficial to diabetics here, folks!!!!
    I would consider this smoothie if I was having a sick day & needed nourishment in some form!
    I would drink it gradually, every 2 hrs. or so; to even out my blood sugar levels & have nothing else to eat - 6/27/09
