This was my first veggie burger recipe and overall it was very good but could use some chiles to really liven it up! - 6/25/09

I ended up cooking this a couple extra minutes because it wasn't quit done after 10. I ate mine plain (no bun) and it was delicious. It has all the flavor it could need, but I'm not sure it would hold up to a bun. It may not hold together well enough. The flavor is amazing though. - 3/12/10

I really wanna try this, but I don't have a food processor. I have a blender .... would that work? Or could I just add the ingredients and not make it into a paste? - 12/30/13

This was my first time trying black bean burgers, and i followed the recipe exactly. It is OK... maybe im just not a fan of the bean texture! - 10/23/12

I had to change this one up a bit. The first time I made it was by the recipe (except I added carrots). The second I sauted the veggies, and added some Mrs. Dash. Finally, the bean taste was gone and I could enjoy this. Definitely a keeper with my changes. I added mushrooms the second time also - 9/22/11

Great recipe! I added spinach, black pepper, and salt to the food processing along with the garlic and onion! Worked well between two toasted slices of whole wheat bread. It was fantastic! - 6/20/11

Made these last night. My husband and I both liked them alot. I cooked some in a pan and some in the oven. The oven method was easier. - 7/22/10

It took a lot more of the bread crumbs than called for in the recipe. I baked some, and fried some in a little oil, just to see the difference. Frying wasn't worth the extra fat and calories. I also used jalepinos instead of green peppers. Ohhh so yummy! Thanks for the recipe! Loved it! - 3/29/10

I'm looking for a meatless burger recipe that won't fall apart on the grill. Anyone have a good one? Thanks so much. - 3/2/09

These sound really yummy! Store-bought veggie burgers are great, but pretty darn expensive! Can't wait to try this recipe. - 2/27/09
