Sounds good, I plan to try these. Those of you with negative comments, please realize if a person is craving sweets, this is far better than many other choices. Sometimes we are also cooking for other family members who are not dieting, and all can share the same "healthier" treats! - 3/25/13

Its junk. I love using SparkPeople, but I have yet to understand why they allow the posting of junk recipes. There's nothing clean about brown sugar or flour. Multi-grain does not alway = healthy. It must be whole grain. And really, 100 calories for 1 unfilling cookie. Think for yourself! - 3/25/13

I like the idea of using whole grains, but not shortening.
"Margarine, vegetable shortening and most commercial baked goods contain these artificially hardened fats and, along with them, TFAs. TFAs are just as bad if not worse for the heart and arteries than saturated fats. - Dr.Weil - 12/18/12

Made these for hubby before he went on the road. Like fixing him a lot of snacks when he is on the road for good choices. He bought a nice big cooler and has a small refig. in is Sleeper. So he is well stock for the road. He eats his main meals at the truck stops when is stops for the night. - 10/27/19
