Shrimp & Grits

Ingredients
.5 cup Cereals, corn grits, yellow, regular, quick, enriched, dry 0.5 cup Kraft 2% Shredded Cheddar Cheese 2 tbsp Parsley .5 cup, chopped Onions, raw 3 serving Smithfield Bacon, Thick Cut (1 Slice) 20 large Shrimp, raw
Directions
1. Peel and clean the shrimp and Chop onion into 1/4in pieces
2. Boil 2c. of water in a small pot and add grits. Turn heat down to low and simmer for 10 min, stirring occasionally.
3. Meanwhile, heat a pan to medium-high and fry bacon until crispy
4. Remove bacon and place on a paper towel. Add onion to still hot pan. Then add the shrimp. Continue to move them around until pink, about 3min. Remove the pan from heat.
5. Once grits have absorbed all the water, remove the grits from the heat and stir in the cheese.
5. Place half of the grits in each of a wide bowl. Top each with half of the shrimp and onions.
6. Chop the bacon into small pieces and divide evenly over the dishes.
7. Chop parsley and top each bowl with 1T for garnish.
