Ingredients
2 cups blueberries 2 cups strawberries, hulled and quartered 1/2 cup uncooked old fashioned oats 4 tsp sugar, divided 4 tsp unpacked brown sugar 2 Tbsp light butter, melted 1/2 cup Coolwhip, light
Directions
Preheat oven to 375°F.

In a small bowl, toss blueberries with 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar; set aside. In another small bowl, toss strawberries with remaining 2 teaspoons of granulated sugar; set aside.

In a third small bowl, stir together oats, brown sugar and butter. Spread mixture in a single layer on a sheet pan; bake, stirring occasionally, until lightly browned, about 15 minutes.

Spread blueberries and strawberries in an 8 x 8-inch glass dish, alternating to create stripes. (Or prepare in individual serving bowls like I did here.) Sprinkle with oat topping, decorate with whipped topping and serve. Yields 8 servings

I've made this recipe multiple times with Splenda and Splenda Brown Sugar and it turned out just as good as with real sugar. It's so fresh and you just feel like you're eating healthy. I made this as the recipe with the berries, but also with apples. Either way it's awesome! - 7/8/08

I only used a little sugar on the strawberries, they needed it. The topping I used sparingley. I also addend non fat yogurt between the berry layers. Everyone loved it. - 7/8/08

Very tasty! I used vanilla yogourt instead of CoolWhip. I didn't bother putting the sugar on the berries; they don't need it.

I also added slivered almonds and craisins to the crumble topping before baking it. Everyone loved it! - 7/4/08

Since I'm allergic to strawberries, I substituted raspberries and doubled the recipe. I reduced the amount of sugar and added cinnamon, nutmeg and ginger. It was quite a hit with the family. I will use the "crisp" part of the recipe with other fruits like peaches and apples. - 7/8/08

This was very good, just be sure not to burn the granola. - 7/14/08

One teaspoon of sugar per serving really is not that many calories. This sounds great and I will try it! - 7/1/08

I made the oat meal crumble this morning using 1/4 cup oats, 1 teaspoon brown sugar and 1 teaspoon light buttery spread. It was wonderful on top of my fruit and yogurt for breakfast. - 3/8/10

Sounds delicious. Love the idea of adding non-fat vanilla yogurt instead of Cool Whip. Definitely gonna try this one soon! - 5/20/09

There's a fair amount of sugar in this; not sure that Splenda would be workable as a substitute in this case, as I find it doesn't dissolve as well in cold things as it does in warm. Otherwise, sounds good... - 7/1/08

Made this exactly as stated except I used 1 cup blueberries, 1 cup blackberries, and 2 cups of strawberries. Yum! I think I will make it again as my picky husband even liked it so much he asked for 2nds! I can use this for peaches, nectarines, or apples too! I used Cool Whip Fat Free for it too ;) - 7/30/19
