4 serving Turkey, Butterball Ground Turkey 93% Lean (1 serving = 4 ounces)
4 serving Red Kidney Beans - dry 1/4 C
3.5 serving Hunts's no salt added diced tomatoes (1 - 14.5 oz can)
7 serving Hunt's no salt added tomato sauce (1 - 15 oz can)
1 tbsp Extra Light Olive Oil
1 cup, chopped Onions, raw
2 clove Garlic
2 tbsp Chili powder
.5 tbsp Seasoning-Mrs. Dash Southwestern Chipotle (by NANCY5953)
Night before: Soak 1 cup of dry red kidney beans in 4 C water overight. Rinse kidney beans off and cover with 4 Cups of water. Simmer for 1.5 hours. Brown onion and garlic in olive oil and place in a large sauce pan. Spray frying pan with spray cooking oil and brown ground turkey, add chilli powder and stir and simmer for another minute to mix. Add to onion mixture, add cooked kidney beans and tomatoes and Mrs. Dash. Add 2 cups of water. Simmer for several hours. Add more water if it gets too thin.
