Homemade Pasta Sauce

1 Tbsp Olive oil4 cloves of garlic, minced1/2 cup onion, chopped rough2 15 oz cans of Tomato Sauce1 15 oz can of Petite Dice Tomatoes12 oz or so of very lean ground beef1 cup sliced fresh mushroomsDried oregano, thyme, pepper, and salt to taste!
Heat oil in pan, add garlic and stir for about 30 seconds, add onion, and stir until onions begin to soften.
Then add one can of the tomato sauce and the can of diced tomatoes. Add your dried spices and fresh mushrooms. After simmering for 1 hour to thicken, add the last can of tomato sauce and the ground beef (already cooked and then drained to reduce fat content)
1 serving is 1/2 cup of sauce.
