Paula Deen's Pepper Steak

Ingredients
1-2lb cubed steak0.5 cup chopped onions0.5 cup bell peppersalt and garlic powder to taste1 cup of water0.25 soy sauce2Tbsp butter1-10oz can of Beef Broth0.25 cup Corn Starch
Directions
Cut cubed steak into strips, add salt and garlic powder to taste and brown in skillet with butter. Add beef broth and simmer for 20 minutes. Add corn starch as thickener, water, soy sauce, bell peppers and onions and simmer for the remaining 10 minutes. Serve over rice.
