Hungarian Cabbage & Noodles

Ingredients
8 cups shredded cabbage1 tsp salt3 tbsp Land O Lakes light Butter1 tbsp sugar2 cups onionspepper to taste12 oz package Egg Noodles
Directions
Sprinkle cabbage with salt, let stand about 30 minutes, wash, squeeze dry, blot on paper towels.
Cook noodles as directed, drain.
Heat butter on very low heat, so it will not scorch, add sugar, heat till sugar browns a bit.
Add onions, cook till they start to wilt.
Stir in cabbage, saute until tender, about 20 min.
Stir in pepper to taste
Toss in noodles.
Serve immediately.
