2 cup Flour, white 1 tsp Yeast .5 cup (8 fl oz) Water, tap 2 cup Stewed Tomatoes 4 oz Mozzarella Cheese, whole milk 4 oz 85% Lean Ground Beef Patty - (1) 4 oz.uncooked .5 cup, sliced Onions, raw 4 clove Garlic
Heat water to slightly warm but not hot.
Dissolve yeast in water.
Knead into flour for a few minutes, until dough feels elastic.
Place in lightly oiled bowl and cover until double in size.
Simmer tomatoes with herbs and spices of your choice (oregano, thyme, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes, basil, fennel) until thick.
Brown ground beef in skillet, adding onions and crushed or sliced garlic once some of the grease has been released. Saute until onions are soft.
Grate the cheese.
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Stretch dough into circle. The thinner the dough, the crisper the crust.
Coat dough with tomato sauce.
Sprinkle ground beef and onion mixture over top, followed by cheese.
Bake 25-30 minutes.
