16 oz Ground beef, extra lean (15% fat) pan broiled 1 tsp, Pumpkin Pie Seasoning (or 1 tsp. Cinnamon & 1 tsp. Nutmeg)1 serving 1 Med. Green Bell Pepper .25 cup, chopped Onions, raw 427 grams Crushed Tomatoes (16 oz. can) 1 cup Tomato Sauce (8 oz. can)2 cup Bird's Eye Cut Green Beans (frozen, 2/3 cup) 3 cloves Garlic minced 2 Tbsp. Chili Powder1 Tbsp. Cumin1/2 tsp. Garlic Powder1/2 tsp. Onion Powder1/2 tsp. Cayenne (optional)Sea Salt & Pepper to taste.5 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Heat olive oil in a soup pot over medium-high heat, and add your onions and bell pepper.
Allow to cook toigether for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Next, add your ground beef and garlic anmd cook until slightly browned, about 5-6 minutes.
Add tomato sauce and crushed tomatoes, broth (or water instead), frozen green beans and all spices. Bring everything to a boil, and then lower to a simmer.
Allow to cook for about an hour, and serve. This chili freezes well and makes excellent leftovers. Serving size is one cup.
