Ingredients
Directions
***You need BUNS (I used toast to avoid going to the store or spending money), which isn't included in the nutrituion info. You could eat it by itself, but then it isn't really a sandwhich.1 cup shredded potatoes1 tbsp vegetable oil1/2 cup boiling water1/2 tomato sauce or puree (I used ragu and it tasted just fine)1/3 tsp soy sauce1 tsp yellow mustard1/3 chili powder (or to taste)1 tsp relish (not the sweet stuff)black pepper (to taste)
Coat skillet with vegetable oil and heat on medium for a few minutes
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl or skip to the next step
Put all ingredients in the skillet and cook for 10-12 minutes on med-hi, stirring occasionally
Serve immediately on a warm bun or toast
Serves two, or use both servings to make one big sloppy joe
I like mine on the smaller side and I THINK one serving is about a half a cup or two thirds of a cup, I didn't measure the final though
Number of Servings: 2
