I've made these before and I love them even better than french fries. I do believe the calorie count is off. I also cook them at 450 degrees for 20 minutes. That makes them tender inside and browned outside. Yummy! - 5/7/08

Very Easy and yummy, especially when baked on a pan lined with parchment paper, but I too have reservations about the calorie count. Thanks for the recipe though! - 5/2/08

This is great, but I have the same concern as someone else on here. A "medium" potato to me, has about 100 cals. This recipe calls for 4 potatoes, and gives 4 servings. Hence one serving equals one potato. How did the potato go down from 100 cals to 41? Yummy though!!! - 9/5/07

These were a very good. Information I found on potatoes states that one medium potato is approximately 5.3 ounces and has approximately 100 calories. That being said, I would think a serving is around 2.5 ounces to arrive at the 41 calories here. - 7/27/07

I make fries that are similar. Only difference is I boil them for 5-6 minutes. Then pat dry. Place on cookie sheet but DO NOT LET POTATOES TOUCH EACH OTHER or they get soggy. Learn to make from friend who is diabetic. Seem to cook faster. - 11/12/11

WOW, I love French Fries and have missed them so much. This is an awesome way to make them healthy. Had them on the side last night with baked tilapia. Big difference from what I used to eat for dinner but was suprisingly amazing - 8/29/07

I added Cayenne,Salt,Pepper,Garlic Pwdr,Chili Pwder to mine for a spicy flavorful kick. Just be sure and not overdo the cayenne. - 7/10/07

This was so easy and yummy. I made it as a side for a grilled chicken sandwich. It took over an hour though, until the fries were done. I think next time I will crank up the heat a little and finish them off under the broiler, I love crunchy fries. - 7/7/07
