Sirloin chili

2 1/2 lb sirloin tip roast- cut in small pieces1 1/2 cup diced onion1 cup diced celery1 6oz can tomato paste1 28 oz can diced tomatoes w/ basil, garlic & oregano1 28 oz can tomato sauce1 14 oz can tomatoes w/green chilis1cup finely chopped green pepper3 Tbs chili powder2 tsp cumin1 Tbs splenda or sugar2 cans pinto beans (rinsed)
Spray large frying pan with cooking spray. Add beef, bell pepper, onions and celery. Cook until onions and celery are translucent and pepper is soft. Meanwhile, combine remaining ingredients in large pot. Drain fat off meat mixture and add to pot. Mix well. Bring to a slight boil, turn down heat to simmer, cook for about an hour and a half.
Note: The spenda ( or sugar) will remove the acid taste from the canned tomatoes.
Makes 12-1 1/2 cup servings.
