Granola bars

Ingredients
Rolled oats 12ozSliced almonds 3ozWheat Germ 1.5 ozHoney 9ozFlax seed 3 tbspPuffed Rice 1.5ozbrown sugar 1/4 cup packedVanilla extract 2 tspKosher salt 1/2 - 1 tspDried fruit (cranberries) 5.5ozbutter 1oz
Directions
toast the dry ingredients in a 350 oven on a sheet pan for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

heat wet ingredients to dissolve sugar

Combine, adding fruit.

Place in a greased 9 x13 pan, press down, and return to a 300 degree oven for 25 minutes.

Let cool completely, cut into 1 inch strips to make about 22 bars.
