I'm all for cutting, chopping and slicing veggies before hand. I also do tomatoes (scoup out insides for longer life). Any fresh veggies I have, I'll prep them and store each one in a separate container. This has proved to extend the freshness of each veggie, as compared to storing them combined - 7/10/09

To have enough for 8 baggies/servings you need 2 cups of each vegetable, NOT 1/4 cup of each veggie.
I'm sorry, but too many of these recipes are posted WITHOUT proofing and can be confusing unless one is real diligent in checking them out. - 10/1/09

I season and cook up different kinds of meat and then freeze 1 serving portions all cut up. Then when I make a salad for the hubby or kids to take with them I put the pre-cooked frozen meat on top of the salad. It helps keep the salad chilled til lunchtime and the meat is thawed and ready to eat! - 1/21/10

Wonderful idea, I try and clean and prep all my veggies when I get back from the grocery store. It's so much easier, and a real time saver, if things are cleaned, cut and ready to go! Thanks for sharing this tip! - 2/27/10

I do this all the time (a baggie for each veggie) - it makes things SOOOO much easier and when making other recipes, my veggies are already cut up - 1/26/10

Just perfect nibilies to either nibble on, or add to a salad, or throw in a pan and stir fry (without oil) - 1/24/10

Prepping veggies ahead of time is a good idea and saves time later. But I put them in baggies or containers separately so they stay fresh longer. Thanks for the tip. - 8/28/19
