1lb red kidney beansLouisiana hot sauce1pack Butterball Smoked turkey sausage choppedcajun seasoning1-2 bayleafs1pack frozen pictsweet seasoning blend
Soak beans overnight or 6-8 hrs with bay leaf(s). Boil beans until softened (about 1-2 hours)stir and add water as needed. Cook sausage and pour desired amount of hotsauce on sausage continue to cook, then add in seasoning blend, and cook until thawed. add desired amount of cajun seasoning to mixture and stir. Once beans have softened lower heat to medium and add in sausage mixture stir and simmer for 30 mins. Makes 8+ (1cup) servings
