Very Good. Very easy. I cut it into small pieces and layered it parfait style with the fruit and whip cream, it made a smaller piece fell like a bigger dessert! - 8/17/08

Loved this cake recipe! My entire family loves the cake and could eat it plain. One of my daughters asked if I could make more since we only have one piece left. :) Definitely a new family favorite. :) - 5/26/10

I've made this a lot, but used different kinds of diet soda (orange is great) and added some sugar free jello to the whipped topping. It's a really light, delicious dessert. And SO easy to make! - 10/29/08

    I just checked this 4 times - and I keep coming up with 4 points/Serving - 3/10/14

The other commenter (from 2008) that calculated the points as 3 pts - I'm sure the points were using different calculations, not the Points Plus like they use today. I know values have changed in the last 6 years!

Do you beat it the number of minutes the box calls for or do you just beat until mixed? - 7/1/10

    Reply from KELLYCURL (7/14/10)
I'm not sure what it says on the box - but I usually beat it for about 1.5 - 2 minutes.

I made the cake for Mother's Day because my mom loves white cake on Mother's Day. The cake was very good but a bit crumbly. I should have left it in the pan instead of trying to flip it out and then frost. My mom really liked it too!! - 5/12/10

Follow recipe for cake mix adding eggs and substitute soda for water or omit eggs and substitute soda for water?? - 6/13/08

    Reply from KELLYCURL (6/16/08)
Omit water and eggs. Just add the soda to the powdery mix and bake!!
