2 1/2 cups flour4 teaspoons baking powder3/4 teaspoon salt1 tablespoon sugar2 beaten eggs2 1/4 cup milk3/4 cup vegetable oil
In a large bowl, add the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Stir to combine.
In another bowl, mix the eggs, milk and vegetable oil well.
Add the liquid mixture to the flour mixture and stir to combine. Cook according to the waffle iron's instructions.

Awesome wafffle recipe. I made them with 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce in place for the oil. It cuts the calorie and fats significantly without getting rid of the moistness that oil provides. I also replaced 1 1/4 cup all purpose flour for whole wheat flour. Mine made 18 single waffles. - 11/4/12
