green bean soup

Ingredients
3 tbsp margarine2 medium onions choppedsaltpeppernutmegthyme2 cloves garlic minced3 tbsp flour4 cup chicken stock2 cup water4 cup green beans
Directions
makes 7 1 cup servings

melt margarine in soup pot. Add onions and cook until soft. Add garlic, salt, pepper, nutmeg and thyme and cook until fragrant. Sprinkle flour over all and cook for 2 minutes. Whisk in broth and water, simmer for 5 minutes. Add green beans and cook return to boil, simmering for 10 minutes.
Puree soup in blender or food processor and strain into serving or storage containers.
