Homemade Meatballs

Ingredients
1 lb extra lean ground beef1/4 cup seasoned bread crumbs1 Tbs chopped fresh onion1/2 Tbs sweet basil1/4 tsp salt1/4 tsp black pepper1/4 tsp garlic powder1 tsp fresh chopped garlic1/2 tsp onion powdercooking spray1 large fresh egg
Directions
Preheat oven to 425. Line a small baking pan with foil. Mix all of the ingredients well (except for cooking spray) with your hands in a small bowl. Spray foil with 2 or 3 sprays of cooking spray. Form mixture into approx. 1 inch balls . Place meatballs on foil . Spray the tops of the meatballs with a light coating of cooking spray. Cover loosely with foil. Bake for 20 - 25 minutes. remove top foil and bake meatballs for 5 minutes until lightly browned. Makes 20 meatballs.
