I must have done something wrong because everyone else seems to have loved these... I did not care for this recipe one bit. - 11/2/08

I made this without the icing (added a little vanilla extract and dash of salt) - and they are totally delicious! Taste so much like real brownies! - 4/16/07

I don't use agave as it is not healthy. I would either use Grade b maple syrup or honey. I make the brownies all the time and you can add water if the brownies are too dry. - 7/15/11

Ok, I just made this recipe!! WOW - E - WOW! The brownies and the icing are so delicious. I have definately become a believer in the raw way of life. I doubled the brownie recipe and halfed the icing...Perfect! I also used honey for the icing, as I am not a fan of agave. Decadent treat w/o guilt! - 3/23/11

I only made a half batch of the frosting - man is that Yummy! Almost like pudding! I made that seperately and used the recipe calculator to find out exactly the calories and nutrition. The brownies were very good too! I stacked them with frosting for a birthday cake! - 3/14/10

I just made this and absolutely love it. I rolled the mixture into small balls and got 25 servings. Have not yet figured the calorie count. I'll keep them in the freezer for a special snack. I won't make the icing - I don't need it. Thanks so much! - 1/30/10

I loved these brownies. I skipped the icing but will have to try it. They were so satisfying chocolate wise and very filling. These will be in my freezer all the time. Very east to make as well. I will need to find the right size pan for the next batch. I used my magic bullet! - 7/3/09

The brownies are fantastic-- surprisingly so. I used Hershey's Special Dark cocoa, which was really good! The icing didn't do it for me. I halved the recipe but still had way too much and it had a bit of a bite to it that wasn't my thing. I'll definitely make the brownies again! - 5/24/09

This was very good and incredibly easy to make. Totally satisfied my sweet tooth. In the future, I would double the brownie part & half the icing part. - 1/17/09

I need to make these again when I am not short of dates. The brownie part fell apart, but the icing kind of "glues" it together. They are SO good, and a great way to eat "veggies!" - 9/3/14

yum!! The frosting made a lot, so I put some in a bowl for my daughter and I to share while we waited for the brownies in the freezer. So good it was like an amazing pudding raw or not. I will be making this again!! - 9/24/11

Dry and boring, with a weird after taste. Don't make these and keep looking. Tastes JUST like those nasty energy bars. Yuck. - 3/2/11

I just made these and put them in the freezer. The brownie part came out too crumbly and dry -- next time I might try mixing the brownie mix with the frosting mix all together. So far, very yummie! - 12/6/10

Yummo!!! I just made this and although I haven't tasted the brownie and the icing together, I know it will be divine based on my sampling as I made them. I can't wait to take it out of the freezer. Make sure to add enough salt to the icing to make the flavors really come together. - 9/24/10
