Red Beans and Rice with Ground Meat

Ingredients
Blue Runner Creole Red Beans, 27 oz Lean Ground Sirloin 10% Fat, 1 lbOnions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)White Rice, long grain, 2.25 cup
Directions
Dice onion and brown ground meat with onion in pan. Season to taste. (I use Tony Chachere's, a little garlic powder and salt and pepper.) Add can of beans and fold in. Bring to simmer and serve over hot rice. I use about 0.75 dry rice for my husband and I to share. Makes 6 servings.
