VareeP's Tempting Pepper Steak (Crockpot - Low Sodium)

1 lbs eye of round steak, cut into strips1/4 cup lite soy sauce (La Choy)2 cups white onion sliced4 tsp. chopped garlic1 packet sweetener1/2 tsp black pepper1/4 tsp ground ginger6 roma tomatoes, cut into eighths2 cups bell peppers, cut into strips
Spray crockpot/slow cooker with non-stick spray (I use olive oil spray) Place steak on bottom, layer on onion. Mix together soy sauce, sweetener, garlic, black pepper and ground ginger. Drizzle over top of meat/onions. Cook about 5 hours on low. Add tomatoes and bell peppers. Cook an additional hour.
Serve over rice or noodles.
