Vegan Grain Burgers

Ingredients
Directions
2/3 cup Brown Rice (may use barley), uncooked2 cups Water1 tsp Salt1/3 cup Green Pepper, chopped1/3 cup Onion, chopped 1 Tbsp Olive Oil1/4 cup Egg substitute1/3 cup Wheat germ1/4 cup Whole Wheat Flour
Cook rice (or barley) in the water with salt according to package directions. Stir during cooking to make it sticky.
Saute' vegetables in oil and add to cooked rice.
Stir in egg and enough flour to hold together.
Season with salt, cayenne pepper, soy sauce, etc... as desired.
Shape into patties, dredge with flour and brown on griddle or skillet (may spray with non-stick spray)
