Aloha Pineapple Bars

Ingredients
20 oz canned crushed pineapple in juice2 cups chopped dates3 cups old fashioned oats1 cup honey wheat germ1 cup coconut1 cup chopped walnuts1 -1/4 cup orange juice1/4 cup canola oil
Directions
Combine pineapple and dates in a sauce pan. Cook on medium heat until thickened. Okay to add a sprinkle of cornstarch if you have a lot of juice in the pineapple. Combine the remaining ingredients. Press half in the bottom of a 9X13-inch pan. Using parchment paper makes this easier to remove from pan. Spread the pineapple date mixture over this layer. Sprinkle with remaing mixture. Press down lightly. Bak at 350F for 30-35 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool and cut into 32 squares.
