Ingredients
2 cups water¼ cup raw cashews4 oz. sweet peppers or pimentos, drained1 cup nutritional yeast flakes2 tablespoons cornstarch1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice1 ½ teaspoons salt, or to taste½ teaspoon onion powder¼ teaspoon garlic powder½ teaspoon cumin, heaping
Directions
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until completely smooth. Transfer mixture to a medium saucepan and whisk constantly over medium heat until thickened, about 5 to 6 minutes.

Jalapenos canbe added for more spice or salsa
