Very Good... Sugestion use salt free canned green beans and rinse them in water after opening. Also, the Healthy Choice Campbells soup actually has less fat and calories than the fat free version. Otherwise yummm - 5/22/09

I make it with Almonds on top instead of the onions. - 6/1/09

Although the frozen green beans are healthier they were so much tougher to eat. I would probably go back to the canned for this kind of recipe. - 2/2/09

This turned out great! I did use french-cut frozen green beans, and added half a minced scallion. Yum! - 12/4/07

I use fresh green beans, steamed in mine, and the healthy request campbells soup in mine. We've used skim milk for years now. - 12/25/08

I am one who does not do mushrooms, so I use cream of celery instead. Take it to Church pot-lucks and is the first one gone. Thanks for sharing the non-fat milk, will try this season :) - 10/30/09

Frozen green beans? Canned soup? Canned fried onions? That isn't food worth eating. - 11/14/14

This is so much better using canned green beans, frozen ones are a pain to cook and never turn out well.....Green beans are one vegetable that are not better frozen!...other wise , this is the way I`ve made this casserole for 10 years. - 12/18/13

Yummy! I used Skim Plus milk for creaminess without fat and I added a dash of red pepper sauce. I like it spicy! - 11/18/10

I made it with canned No-Salt-Added canned green beans that were much more tender than frozen. Will do again for the family Thanksgiving Dinner! - 11/25/13

This recipe calls for 1 10oz can low-fat Cream of Mushroom Soup but I had to use 2 to make it work. - 11/24/12

Delicious! I used 1.3 16oz bags of frozen french cut green beans, and mixed half the French's onions during cooking and the rest for the last 5 minutes. Next time I'll make it 1.5 bags and otherwise no changes. And I'm not waiting until next Thanksgiving to do this again! - 11/27/10

I agree with fresh green beans, steamed, or sauteed, as adding better flavor. Everything else is great. Sounds like the sliced almonds someone mentioned would be a healthier option than the french fried onions but then we can always do our own onions, right? Thanks. - 11/16/20

I have made mine exactly this way for years. I cook the frozen beans a little first to soften them up. Be safe this Holiday season! - 11/14/20
