I used carrot cake mix, instead, and added walnuts. These were very good and moist. - 9/25/07

Ok I have to jump in too. I loved these! I can't wait to make more - maybe with walnuts next time. Like others, I opted for mini's and went with 350/16 min. I think it came out to about 4 dz that way. - 10/11/10

Excellent! I made mini muffins instead of regular size, as I had a group to cook for. They loved them. I only baked the mini muffins for 13 minutes at 350. - 10/5/10

Actually, Marasca, yes, this is a recipe, and a good one. Maybe you should take the time to try something before you bash it and the person who was kind enough to share it. One classic way to do this is with devil's food cake mix. It makes great (low-fat and filling) chocolate muffins. I love this. - 9/23/10

Awesome! I baked them on 350 instead and added one serving of chocolate chips. We love them for breakfast! - 1/20/10

Excellent! Very most and delicious. I had to add maybe 1/2 cup of water for proper consistency of the batter. - 9/30/07

I used the whole can of Puree and added some water. Did not spray pan, I used muffin liners
I also did regular sized muffins and got a dozen - 10/12/14

Thinking I might add some water next time to thin out the batter a bit - 3/5/12

I have made this many times not always putting it into muffin tins and just made as a cake! Very good and moist. I have used other cake mixes as well with good results. - 1/24/10

These taste good flavor-wise, but I think the oven temp is too low. It ended up taking over half an hour to get these (mostly) done, and they didn't melt down or smooth out to a cupcake shape. What I have is spiced pumpkin lumps. They're good, but kind of disappointing visually. - 10/8/09

I initially got this recipe from a Weight Watchers member years ago and I LOVE IT! - 7/3/09

The point of buying the canned pumpkin is that it has more vitamins than fresh unless you have your own pumpkin patch...read up on it...this is a good recipe I love the pumpkin added to cake mixes. - 4/20/09

Sounds good. I'm going to make it today. - 2/2/09

Easy, fast and delicious..and still moist & yummy for days after. IF the toothpick comes out still with batter, just keep them in the oven for a few more minutes and I'll guarantee ya they'll be fine..all ovens cook differently... - 12/22/08

I plan to make this again, but would probably add a bit of water to the mixture to thin it out, as the muffins were pretty heavy. They were moist and flavorful though, so I will see if I can adjust the consistency a bit next time. - 7/7/08

These were great. I added 2 tbsp of water, and baked in a loaf pan, and it turned out wonderfully. Reminds me of my Mumm's pumpkin bread. - 12/8/07

This was very easy and soooo good! I also added water to help with the consistency. I would definitely make these again! - 12/1/07

This recipe calls for 325 degree oven. Mine were raw after 25 minutes! Another recipe on Spark says 350 - Why the discrepancy? WASTED INGREDIENTS! - 10/4/07
