8 Chicken thighs4 tbsp olive or peanut oilFinger length piece of ginger, grated4 tbsp dry sherry or shaohsing rice wine4 tbsp light soy sauce4 tbsp clear honey4 tsp five-spice powder
Whisk together the marinade ingred. Pour over the chicken. Marinade at least 20 mins, up to 24 hours.
Heat oven to 360 F. Place chicken in dish and roast for 40 mins. Pour remaining marinade and cook another 30 mins, or until sticky and golden.
