2 tbsp olive oil8 thin cut, center loin pork chopsblack peppergarlic powder1 red apple with skin - halved, cored & sliced thin1 bunch of scallions, sliced into ringlets3 tbsp white wine1 tbsp brown sugarground nutmeg
Makes 4 servings of 2 chops each
Heat olive oil in frying pan. Season chops with pepper and garlic powder and brown on both sides in the frying pan. After they are brown and done, remove from pan. In the pan drippings, add the sliced scallions & apples. Stir fry for a minute or two then add the white wine to deglaze the pan, followed by the brown sugar and nutmeg. Take the apple topping and place over the chops and serve.
