added a yellow diced pepper to the meatloaf and diced onions. Loved it, came out great, my husband and I really loved it, had a lot of flavor, will make again, for sure. - 10/16/20

I love recipes that literally only take 5 minutes to throw together and then let it cook. But convenience doesn't trump taste-this delivers on both. Excellent flavor! - 2/2/15

This is the same recipe my Mom made when we were young and I still make it today. Want to take it to an even greater level? Get yourself a grill basket and cook it on the grill. It won't be as thick but it will be wider. Be sure to spray both sides of the basket with Pam first. My favorite! - 7/20/13

We make this often and everyone loves it. We do leave out the ketchup because we prefer a meaty taste vs a tomatoey taste.

    Thanks! - 4/12/13

This is what my mom made too, but my husband is allergic to onions. Anyone substituted anything for the onion soup mix? - 1/6/13

this is the one my mom made, a classic! I still love it and so does my hubby although I put the ketchup on top of the loaf while it bakes instead of mixing it in, either way yummy and nostalgic - 10/28/12

I'm vegan, but this recipe was similar to my dad's so I thought I'd try it out on my family...they loved it. Simple and efficient. - 9/13/11

I made this recipe with what I had in the freezer - part lean ground beef and part ground turkey. I halved the recipe since I am feeding just myself and my husband. Wow, it is superb! The Lipton Onion Soup mix really gives this meatloaf an awesome taste. It was nice and juicy too, not dry. - 4/8/10
