Slow Cooker Venison Sloppy Joes

Ingredients
1/4 lb bacon2 lbs of ground Venison or Venison stew meat1 lg yellow onion1/2 cup brown sugar1/4 cup white wine vinegar1 tbsp ground cumin1 tsp chili powder2 tbsp minced garlic1 tbsp Hellman's Dijonnaise creamy mustard1 cup ketchupsalt & pepper to taste
Directions
1. Place bacon in a large, deep skillet. Cook over medium high heat until evenly brown. Remove from skillet, crumble & set aside. Brown venison in bacon grease for flavor.

2. Put onion, sugar, vinegar, cumin, chili powder, garlic, mustard, ketchup, salt & pepper in slow cooker and mix well. Add bacon and venison and stir together.

3. Cook for a minimum of 8 hours on low setting.
