Curried Brown Rice with Mushrooms and Tofu

Earth Balance Natural Buttery Spread, .5 tbsp Onions, raw, .25 cup, chopped Tofu, 79 grams or one servingMushrooms, fresh, 6 medium, sliced Curry powder, 1 tsp Organic Brown Rice, 1 cup leftover or precookedBasil, 1 tbsp
Heat sauté' pan with 1/2 T Earth Balance. Add onions and cook 3-4 minutes, add tofu and cook another 3-4 minutes, stirring often. Add mushrooms and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add rice and curry powder. Stir well and cook an additional 3-4 minutes. Add 1-2 T of water if needed for moisture. Top with chopped basil and serve.

I loved it I know a lot of comments were saying it's too bland but as with any recipe you just add more seasonings I added a tad of red pepper and extra curry and some garlic salt and black pepper was perfect and a little bit of White wine with coconut oil, so delicious , oh and steamed broccoli wit - 3/14/17

I cook with stainless steel, so this was one heck of a clean-up. Lol! Otherwise if you can't handle tasteless food, this is not for you. Very bland. Smells amazing, but I didn't even swallow it it was so bland. I think this would be interesting with wild rice and some adjustments. - 3/8/10
