Ingredients
2 cups whole wheat flour.1/3 cup grits1/3 cup Quinoa1/3 cup oatmeal or irish oats1/3 cup ground flax1 can chicken or beef broth2 large eggs1/3 cup of olive oilYou can add garlic or black pepper even 1/3 cups of cheese if these are for you.You can use bacon fat instead of oliveoil if these are just for Fido. Fido won't like the pepper.
Directions

Dump the dry ingredients add the chicken broth( or bullion and water )Let sit for 20 minutes then add the eggs and mix well. Will be lumpy
Spray a 10x13 cokies sheet with pam . Pour batter onto pan and smooth out.
Put into a 325 pre heated oven for one hour
Make 4 long cuts and 5 short cuts ( pan size 13x10) about 2+1/4 x 3+/1/2 per cracker with a pizza cutter after the first hour.
Put back into a lower oven for as long as it takes to make it to your level of crispy.
200 degree for 5 hours is just right for me and I flip them half way thru .
These are great with peanut butter for me and as is for my dog. They satisy the need to have something really crispy and chewy. We like our snacks they keep our tails waggin.

this should not be tagged as "vegetarian." A dish with chicken broth or beef broth is not vegetarian. Just because you don't include chunks of meat in a dish does not mean it is vegetarian. This seems to be a common problem in sparkpeople. - 3/29/11
