Laurie's Texas Style Slow Cooker Chili

Ingredients
1.5 lb. Outside Round Roast, cut into bite sized pieces1 28 oz can Diced tomatoes, no salt added1 19 oz can Red Kidney Beans, drained and rinsed1 19 oz can Black Beans, drained and rinsed1 can Tomato Soup1 Onion, coarsely chopped1 Green Pepper, coarsely chopped1 cup Celery, diced2 cups Mushrooms, sliced2 Tbsp Chili Powder or to taste3 large Cloves Garlic, minced1 Tsp Cumin or to tasteSalt and Pepper to taste
Directions
Brown meat in non-stick frying pan. Put all ingredients in large slow cooker and cook 4-5 hours on high or 8-10 hours on low.

You can add more chili powder or hot peppers if you wish, but my husband can't handle the spice so I usually add more heat to my own servings.

Makes about 12 1-cup servings.
