Ingredients
1/2 fresh pineapple1 large orange1 large banana1 large apple1 cup strawberries, frozen1 cup grapes, seedless3 medium raw baby carrots4 tbsp honey1 cup ice (optional)
Directions
Peel your pineapple and cut in half. No need to pit it. Slice according to blender.
Peel the orange and cut in half.
Peel the banana.
Core apple.
Add all ingrediants to the blender EXCEPT the ice.
Blend and mix very well. If the mixture is too runny add some ice to it. Adding too much ice will cause the mixture of fruit to become too thick.
Pour into a nice glass and enjoy a beautiful glass of fruit juice.

Kids had a slumber party tonight and we made this. It was a BIG hit. I've never put carrots in a fruit drink before.. but you would never have known they were there. YUMMY!! - 11/19/08

Really good. I also frequently use frozen bananas instead of ice and add 1 Tbsp. ground flaxseed meal for Omega-3s. You could also add a scoop of protein powder to make this a complete meal. (no honey needed in such case) This is only "high" in calories if treated as an "extra" in your diet! - 11/19/08

I just wish I had a way to down size the recipe...too much to make at one time...maybe I will half the ingredients...Also, I will try to omit the honey... - 11/19/08

I have a Vitamix and make fresh fruit drinks all the time. The pineapple core is particularly healthy. I don't use the honey but usually add more carrots for this amount of fruit. Frozen grapes are good. Apple seeds blend and disappear. Yummmmm. - 11/19/08

Is the honey really necessary? It looks like it would be sweet enough with just the fruit. - 11/19/08
