Mel's Oatbran apple cinnamon waffles

2 cups Buttermilk pancake and waffle mix275 ml water ( 1 cup plus a tablespoon) 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce1 tsp Cinnamon3 Tablespoons mini chocolate chips 1 tbsp wheat germ1/2 cup Oat bran cereal
Mix all ingredients together with a whisk, getting all lumps out.
Heat waffle Iron, when it is ready drop 50 ml scoops of mixture onto iron to make each waffle.
Makes 12
