Paula's Ground Beef & Vegetable Soup

Ingredients
2 lbs 96% extra lean ground beef6 medium baby carrots2 stalks celery1/4 medium onion6 small red potatoes1 tsp basil1/2 tsp garlic powder1/4 tsp black pepper4 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce4 Tbsp corn starch9 cups water
Directions
1. Brown ground beef, drain well
2. Slice all vegetables
4. Add vegetables, 8 cups water, Worcestershire Sauce and spices to pot, bring to a boil
5. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 1 - 1 1/2 hours until vegetables are tender
6. Mix 1 cup cold water and corn starch until well blended
7. Stir corn starch mix into soup, stirring well until thickened
