Ingredients
1/2 tbsp olive oil1/4 medium white onion chopped1tsp salt1 bunch asparagus (about 2 c) 1 clove garlic minced2 tbsp Kikkoman Teriyaki Baste & Glaze sauce (or a similar teryaki-flavored sauce)1 tbsp red pepper flakes2-3 tsp water
Directions
Saute the onions in the oil and salt. While the onions are sauteing, cut the asparagus into bite size pieces.

When the onions are translucent add the garlic and cook for 1-2 min. Add the asparagus, sauce, and red pepper flakes along with a little bit of water (2-3 tsp) and cover to steam. Stir occasionally.

When the asparagus have turned bright green, uncover and let simmer for 1-2 min until the sauce reduces slightly. Be careful to not overcook, you want the asparagus to be CRUNCHY! not chewy :)
