Beef stuffed Zucchini

Ingredients
Zucchini, 1 large93% Lean Ground Beef, 1 lbBread crumbs, dry, grated, plain,1/2 cup Onions, raw, 1/2 small Garlic, 1 clove mincedRomano Cheese, 2 oz gratedBasil, 3 large leaves crushedEgg, fresh, 1 largeSalt, 1/2 tspPepper, black, 1/2 tsp Garlic powder, 1/2 tsp Sauce:Crushed Tomatoes, 28 oz. canOnions, raw, 1 medium choppedOlive Oil, 2 tbsp Oregano, ground, 1/4 tsp Basil, .1 tspGranulated Sugar, 1 tsp Garlic powder, 1/4 tsp Parmesan Cheese, shredded, 2 tbsp
Directions
Cut the ends off the zucchini and cut into 3 pieces. Put them into lightly salted boiling water and cook for 5 minutes. Cut each piece in half and scoop out seeds and set in a greased baking pan that will hold the pieces flat on the bottom.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a skillet and saute the onion and garlic for 3 minutes. Place the bread crumbs , cheese, basil, egg, pepper and salt in a bowl. Mix well and combine with onion and ground beef. Mix well and shape into 6 pieces that will fit inside of zucchini. Bake for 25 minutes in a 400 degree oven.
Meanwhile, heat another 2 tbsp. oil in a skillet and add garlic and onion. Cook for 3 minutes. Add tomatoes adn all the spices. Cook for 30 minutes.
When done, pour sauce over the stuffed zucchini and bake another 10 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese.
