Avocado Cheese Dip

Ingredients
2 8-oz pkgs cream cheese, softened1 1/2 cups Mexican shredded cheese1 black avocado (save seed)1 can Green chilesGarlic clove, mashed1 small onion
Directions
Combine all ingredients in food processor and mix thoroughly. Place in small serving bowl and place seed in the middle. Cover tightly with saran wrap if placing in refrigerator before serving.
Serve with raw vegetables or pork rinds.
Makes about 16 servings as an appetizer.

    I believe the seed in the middle of the finished dip is used as a decoration, right? I mean, it doesn't enhance or improve the dip in anyway, right? I'm just asking as I am no guru on avocados and am in the learning curve on them. Thanks for this great sounding recipe. I'm going to try it tonigh - 3/29/15
