Shrimp Creole

Ingredients
1 tablespoon olive oil1/2 cup diced green bell peppers1/2 cup diced onions1/2 cup diced celery1 teaspoon chili powder1 (14-ounce) can diced tomatoes1 ( 8-ounce) can tomato sauce1 tablespoon tabasco hot sauce1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon white sugarSalt and pepper1 pound peeled and deveined shrimp
Directions
Saute onions, garlic, green pepper and celery until tender in olive oil. Add chile powder and stir to carmelize. Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, hot sauce, worcestershire sauce, sugar and salt and pepper. Cover and simmer about 20 minutes. Cover and simmer for additional 5 minutes. Add shrimp, cover for 2-3 minutes until cooked through.
