Ingredients
4 skinless chicken breast fillets or 8 skinless chick drumsticksJuice of half a lemonJuice of half a lime2 cloves garlic, finely chopped2 teaspoons crushed chillies1teaspoon paprika1 teaspoon oregano1/4 cup cider vinegarSalt and black pepper
Directions
Place the chicken, chillies, garlic, lemon juice, paprika, oregano and vinegar in a bowl and mix together. Season with salt and black pepper. Let the chicken marinade in the fridge over night if possible.

To cook the chicken, light the barbeque and wait until the flames have died down and/or the coals have turned white before you start cooking. Place the chicken on the barbeque, turning every now and then to ensure the chicken cooks evenly, this will take about 25-30 minutes.
You can cook on a griddle or in the oven with a grill.

Once cooked, squeeze the juice of half a lime over the chicken and serve.

I made this after seeing it on the forums. It was delicious! I didn't use chili's or the lime, because I didn't have it on hand. Also, I broiled the chicken, and used chicken tenderloin. - 1/12/12

I don't really like adding lemon juice, lemon pepper or lime juice to recipes. I never knew the benefit or if it enhances the taste of the recipe being the reasons for using these ingredients in so many recipes. Does the food suffer in taste or quality or some other way if they are omitted? - 8/7/16
