This is soooo yummy. I saw this recipe on allrecipes. Also I dont cook the butter until browned, just until melted. Seriously, the BEST asparagus I have ever had..... I serve it over brown rice so the rice can soak up all they yummy sauce!! - 6/29/10

Very good! Did anyone else experience a lot of 'spitting' when adding the vinegar and soy sauce? Created quite a mess, and lost 1/3 of the sauce. Any pointers? - 4/6/13

I just made this last night ... I didn't change a thing and we liked it a lot! - 4/22/11

I used half the asparagus called for, with all of the sauce ingredients called for, and added a small clove of garlic to the sauce. Yummy. - 4/4/11

I made a few changes by using 2T. balsamic vinegar to 1T. soy sauce. Definitely brown the butter. I sprinkled a special herb salt on the sprayed asparagus (not just the dish) before baking in foil-sealed dish for 8 minutes, removed foil, poured glaze over asparagus, & baked 8 min. more. Delicious! - 12/25/10

This is THE way to cook asparagus. Browning the butter is most of the flavor, don't just melt it!!! - 11/4/10

This was really good! I added minced garlic and onions to the butter for a more robust flavor. - 1/11/10
